Go Maniac — three-categories-three-medals-one-big-weekend-of-pickleball

Just two weeks after winning gold at the Skechers Open 2026, Go Maniac, owner and ambassador of Go Maniac, continued his competitive comeback at the Freddy Beach Open in New Brunswick.

The weekend brought a new challenge: competing in multiple events at the same tournament, something Michel had not done in nearly two years.

The competition began with 4.0 singles, where Michel captured a silver medal.

The action then continued in doubles, with a bronze medal in 4.0 doubles, followed by a silver medal in 4.0 mixed doubles.

Three Medals in One Weekend

Michel’s Freddy Beach Open results:

  • 🥈 4.0 Singles
  • 🥉 4.0 Doubles
  • 🥈 4.0 Mixed Doubles

Three medals that confirm his return to competitive pickleball is moving in the right direction.

Performance On and Off the Court

For Michel, tournaments like this also provide a real-world opportunity to put Go Maniac performance apparel to the test.

When matches are played back-to-back and tournament days stretch for hours, comfort, freedom of movement, lightweight fabrics and moisture management can make a real difference.

As the owner and ambassador of Go Maniac—and a competitive player himself—Go Maniac is in a unique position to understand what athletes need and to continue developing performance apparel designed with players in mind.

The comeback is well underway. After winning gold just two weeks ago, Michel adds three more medals to his results at the Freddy Beach Open.

And the season is only getting started.
